Clear accountabilities

Papers. Unit a day before a booked view. 2 weeks free (10 four-wheels / 20 motorcycles), then weekly. Paying customers have priority.

Buyer

Valid ID. Inspect. DP at the office if you like the unit.

ODO

Host the view and the close. No owner number. Published fees only.

Helium Tandoc

Garage. Vehicle only — not valuables left inside.

Safety & legality

Sellers are reminded. Buyers are reminded. Best practice on papers, viewing, pay, and DoS — not a substitute for HPG, LTO, or your own counsel.

Seller — reminded

  • Owner or SPA only. List only as the titled owner, or under a valid Special Power of Attorney. SPA listings must be labeled SPA. Commission agents cannot list on this door.
  • Genuine papers. OR, CR, IDs, SPA, and DoS must be authentic and yours to use. Forged, altered, or stolen papers are a crime. ODO does not certify authenticity.
  • Declare liens. Mortgage, chattel, or any other encumbrance cannot list on this door. Encumbered units are out — not “declare and continue.”
  • Numbers must match. Engine, chassis, and plate on the unit must match the CR. A mismatch is a stop — rebuilt, surplus, or mismatch units cannot list.
  • Closed DoS only. When a buyer proceeds, sign a notarized Deed of Absolute Sale with the buyer’s name filled. No blank buyer name. No open deed.
  • Stay on ODO. No private numbers, no off-app cash, no side deal to skip facilitation. Viewing is 8:30am–4:30pm at Tandoc / Helium — well-lit, secured, hosted. DP and full payment are at that office. ODO mediates. Do not deal direct.
  • Strip the cabin. Remove cash, phones, and valuables before display parking. Helium Tandoc garage insurance covers the vehicle only — not items left inside.
  • Do not list stolen or alarm units. If you know the unit is stolen, rebuilt without papers, or has an HPG alarm, do not list it. Selling stolen property can be fencing under Philippine law.
  • Bring originals to viewing. ODO hosts one or more viewings at Tandoc. You need not attend. The unit must be there and available. Bring original papers as instructed, or leave them with ODO for the hosted session.

Buyer — reminded

  • Inspect at ODO only. One or more ODO-hosted viewings at Tandoc / beside Helium Fuels — Monday–Friday 8:30am–4:30pm, booked 30-minute slots. Break 12:00–1:00. No Saturday or Sunday. Holidays must be booked. You may view more than one unit. Viewing is free. Register with a valid government ID (ID-verified). You (the buyer) are present; a mechanic may come with you. ODO hosts — the seller need not attend. Optional hosted test drive ₱500 uses a handoff form (IDs + fee, unit out and back). Units are as-is. No private meet. No seller number.
  • Match the metal to the CR. Engine, chassis, and plate must match the Certificate of Registration you are shown. If they do not match, do not proceed.
  • Pay only at the office. Facilitation DP and the unit balance are paid in person at Tandoc / Helium Fuels. No installment / pay-later through ODO. You may bring a financier who pays directly at the office. Never GCash, e-wallet, or bank to a personal account — even if someone claims to be the owner or “ODO staff.”
  • Closed DoS in your name. Do not accept a blank buyer name or an “open” deed. The seller signs a notarized Deed of Absolute Sale with your name filled.
  • Diligence is yours. Check the unit and the papers at the viewing. Authenticity stays the seller’s duty. Bring a mechanic or lawyer if you want an independent opinion.
  • Complete papers at handover. Handover is as-is. No warranty from ODO after you take the unit. Accept the unit and the complete papers together. Do not take the keys without OR/CR and the signed DoS.
  • Transfer is government. LTO transfer stays with that office. ODO does not handle LTO assistance. After your purchase, we can refer you to someone who does. ODO does not promise a release date.
  • Do not skip for a discount. Anyone who asks you to pay off-app, skip viewing, HPG clearance, or DoS is not this flow. If a seller comes to your address after DoS, do not pay. Call 0936 411 5239. Report it to support@ownerdirect.ph.
  • Know the Anti-Fencing Law. Buying a unit you know — or should have known — was stolen can be a crime. The viewing and paper match exist so you can check before you pay.

Papers stay the seller’s duty. Diligence stays the buyer’s. ODO is the avenue to see the unit. PNP-HPG keeps clearance authority. Full safety reminders →

    Free list

    Seller

    ODO-V-01 seller terms. ODO-V-03 when the unit hits the lot. ODO-V-04 if they retrieve before DP — slot void, ODO released.

    Owner lists with floor + ceiling (private). Completeness of documents (seller valid ID, OR/CR, name on OR/CR, SPA if SPA) and a matching card (OR/CR matches valid ID) gate the public list. Online browse is free after that. Buyers poke on the free list — that is a view request, not a price offer. Unit must be at Tandoc for any physical viewing. Before parking or viewing, original OR, CR, and valid ID are cross-checked at admission. 10 four-wheels and 20 motorcycles park 2 weeks free. Stay longer: ₱1,000/week 4 wheels · ₱500/week motorcycle. Paying customers have priority. Retrieval voids remaining days. Encumbered, rebuilt, surplus, or CR mismatch cannot list. SPA from spouse allowed with credential verification. No buyer–seller contact.

    Book a 30-min slot

    Buyer

    ODO-V-02 buyer terms before poke. Slot is in the app — no new paper.

    Any listing can be requested. Book a 30-minute slot, weekdays 8:30am–4:30pm at Tandoc. Break 12:00–1:00. No Saturday or Sunday. Holidays must be booked. A booked viewing is approved only after the seller submits the unit at least one day before that date. 10 four-wheels and 20 motorcycles park 2 weeks free; stay is weekly. Paying customers have priority. Viewing is free. Buyer may view more than one unit. ODO hosts — seller need not attend. Retrieval locks viewing. No price tap until after the viewing.

    Register at office

    Buyer

    Valid government ID. ODO-V-05 at the viewing.

    Physical viewing Monday–Friday 8:30am–4:30pm in 30-minute booked slots. Break 12:00–1:00. Register with a valid government ID. Viewing is free. Buyer present; mechanic may accompany. Miss your slot: warning, you miss it. Optional hosted test drive ₱500 — deducted from facilitation if you proceed; non-refundable if you don’t.

    ODO-hosted viewing

    ODO-V-05 viewing acknowledgment.

    ODO hosts at Tandoc. Seller need not attend. Buyer may view more than one unit. Owner number is not exchanged. First to pay facilitation DP gets the unit.

    Viewed

    Buyer

    No new paper. Price taps stay in the app.

    Buyer inspects the unit and papers. Units are as-is — no warranty. Due diligence stays with the buyer. Authenticity of papers stays with the seller. After this viewing only: buyer taps a listed price (3 offers) in the app or at the Tandoc desk. Seller Agrees or Not. If both agree, that price is stamped on the ODO deal and the buyer offers facilitation DP at that price. Third Not blocks the buyer and that deal. Buyer and seller stay anonymous — values only. Telegram is backup only if the app breaks, and only until the system goes back.

    Hosted test drive (optional)

    Buyer · ODO

    ODO-V-06 test-drive handoff if they drive.

    Accountability handoff at Tandoc — not the viewing itself. Buyer (and mechanic if present) show a valid government ID. ₱500 paid at the office. Unit out and back logged on the handoff form. Deducted from facilitation DP if they proceed on that unit; non-refundable otherwise. Viewing stays free.

  7. 07

    Facilitation DP

    Buyer

    ODO-V-07 DP receipt. ODO-V-08 closed DoS (buyer name filled). Not escrow.

    DP = ODO facilitation, deducted from price. First to DP gets the unit. Paid in person at the Tandoc office. Buyer signs the closed DoS at this payment. Seller pays ₱1,500 for DoS / notary. Motorcycle/trike ₱5,000 · car ₱15,000 · SUV/pickup ₱20,000 · commercial/luxury ₱30,000. Any hosted test-drive ₱500 already paid on that unit is deducted from this DP. Remaining pay when papers are ready. Refunded if the seller cannot complete them. Buyer walk after papers are ready → DP forfeited. No installment; financier may pay at the office.

    Closed notarized DoS

    Buyer · Seller

    Same ODO-V-08. Seller pays the ₱1,500 DoS facilitation fee.

    Buyer signs the Deed of Absolute Sale when they pay DP. Seller signs the same closed deed with the buyer’s name filled and pays the ₱1,500 DoS facilitation fee. No blank buyer name. No off-app side deal.

    Papers ready · then ODO calls

    Seller

    ODO-V-09 checklist. Seller takes the signed ODO-V-08 to HPG.

    Seller completes the remaining papers after DoS. ODO calls for remaining pay only when they are ready. If the seller cannot produce HPG clearance (fake papers, go-direct, or walk-away): buyer DP is refunded; seller pays damages equal to the class DP; ₱1,500 stays. Buyer walk after papers are ready → DP forfeited.

    Full payment

    Buyer

    ODO-V-10 full-pay retrieve — receipt + ODO released.

    ODO calls when papers are ready. Buyer pays the remaining balance in full at the Tandoc office within 3 to 5 days of that call. That payment is the retrieve: the unit leaves the lot, the parking slot ends, and ODO is released from accountability. If the buyer does not pursue that payment after papers are ready, the DP is forfeited in favor of ODO.

    Seller paid same day

    ODO

    Copy of ODO-V-10 to the seller.

    Upon that full payment, the seller is paid the same day — cash or deposit — net = agreed price − facilitation, before docs are released. Receipt copy of the full agreed amount.

  12. 12

    Handover

    Buyer

    ODO-V-11 handover retrieve — unit out, ODO released. ODO-V-12 LTO referral after purchase.

    As-is. Buyer accepts the unit and the complete papers and takes everything in order. Parking slot revoked. ODO released from accountability for the unit. No warranty. ODO does not handle LTO; after purchase we can refer who does.
